Peri-Peri Chicken At Nandos (Kota Raya, Pasar Seni, Malaysia)

    My first time to hear about nandos was when I arrived at Malaysia last 19th of September 2011, on my very first day while roaming around KLCC mall with a friend.  She told me that they always eat at nandos at the same time pointing to me the restaurant itself.  I was amazed by the looks of it but to no avail I just smiled and nod.  I was not still in my proper state of mind that time.  Then next Saturday we happened to go Petaling Street the China town of Malaysia then there is a branch of nandos there.  And alas we get inside and savor the moment.  The location is so nice.  Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, matching the busy streets and different races just come across with each other. 

    As we get inside there were wall paintings that adds to cozy aura of the place and we get up to the stairs on the 2nd floor.  I just realized that nandos per-peri originated in Portugal and mixed with Malaysian flavors as what was stated on the wall paintings. Their main menu is chicken. We ordered grilled chicken flavored lemon and herbs plus rice and iced tea.  Iced tea was served bottom less and I really loved it.  We had finished one glass of iced tea when the grilled chicken was served.  And you can smell the sweet aroma that can tickle you to eat a lot.  It was so juicy and the taste is like heaven on earth.  Plus the garlic rice that really matches the savory chicken. Oh so loved it! In my entire life I have never ever tasted a chicken cooked like that.  It will always be remembered by me wherever I go.
